The Government of the Virgin Islands through the Office of the Deputy Governor is inviting the public to the Territory's first observance for the Fly the Flag for the Commonwealth Initiative.

This event will take place on Monday March 9 at 9:00 a.m. and begins with a procession by uniformed bodies from the Sir Oliva Georges Plaza to the Central Administration Building. 

The event is expected to be a part of the largest coordinated raising of the Commonwealth Flag in the history of the Commonwealth. It aims to create a multi-cultural event across time zones that involve people of all ages and from all walks of life.
