Press Release
BVI Finance, the voice of the financial services industry in the BVI, will be launching their new brand identity on 4th March 2015.
The rebranding marks a strategic shift for the IFC, reflecting a strong desire to work closely with the financial services sector, jointly promoting the jurisdiction globally.
“This evolving collaboration is essential, ensuring that BVI remains an internationally respected financial centre and a global leader in the provision of innovative financial services products”, said Kedrick Malone, Executive Director of BVI Finance.
He added, “We are looking forward to building on our relationships with each of the sectors and ensuring we, in partnership with the BVI Government, continue to set the conditions for the future success of the jurisdiction and the offshore industry.”
The roll out of the new brand signals a new era for the jurisdiction. The refreshed look encompasses the new strategy that is aligned with BVI Finance’s marketing plans and public relations efforts, which will dictate the way the BVI engages with existing markets and build relations with new ones.
BVI Finance has been working closely with branding agency, Emperor, and communications advisers, FTI Consulting, to further refine the brand and develop a new communications strategy for the sector.
The launch consists of a number of workshops and will culminate with a cocktail reception hosted by Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE on Wednesday, March 4, at Maria’s By the Sea.
BVI International Finance Centre (IFC), re-branded as BVI Finance in 2014, is responsible for marketing the products and services of the Financial Services sector, maintaining its excellent reputation, promoting its economic and political stability, and highlighting its best in class regulation.
