The BVI Ports Authority commenced a five day Certified Port ExecutiveTM (CPE) Program, to train about twenty staff members in several areas related to the global marine transportation system.
The Global Marine Transportation System is a vital component of the ability to trade for which affects every country. This system is consisted of both domestic and international routes including the different modes of specialised marine transportation.
Pictured is facilitator, Captain Jeffrey W. Monroe, MM, CMPE, Director of Education and Training for the International Association of Maritime and Port Executives.
The training programme commenced on Monday February 22 and will conclude on Friday February 26.
