Letter box holders can now resume collection of their mail from their assigned BVI Post letter boxes at the location across from the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex.

Acting Post Master General Mrs. Iris Romney said letter box holders of numbers 1 to 4347 in the Road Town area can resume the use of their boxes from December 11.

Mrs. Romney said, “Letter box holders are to return the keys for the old letter boxes and collect the new keys at the General Post Office located in the Maduro Building in Road Town.” She added that if persons are unable to return the old key, they will be required to pay a deposit of $15.00 for the new key.

The rental of letter boxes are available at various locations throughout the Territory including Cane Garden Bay, Sea Cows Bay, West End, Cappoons Bay, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada; and Valley or North Sound, Virgin Gorda. Interested persons can apply for a letter box at the General Post Office or at any of the postal offices in their area.
