The Conservation and Fisheries Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour, is inviting all fisherfolk on Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Anegada to attend an important meeting at the Conservation and Fisheries Department on Monday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m.

The issues to be discussed include proposed changes to the Fisheries Regulations and Act, the upcoming Fisherman’s Day activities and other issues.

Fisherfolk are encouraged to make a special effort to attend, and be on time, as discussion on these issues is very important to the BVI fishing industry.

For more information on the meeting, persons should contact the Conservation and Fisheries Department at 468-2700. Persons may also visit the office located on the 2nd floor of the Quastisky Building in Road Town.
