Travelers to the Virgin Islands who are fully vaccinated can now present a RT-PCR or Approved Antigen SARS COV-2 negative test result, taken within 48-hours before arrival to the Territory.

Travelers will not be required to re-test upon entry into the Territory following an amendment by the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands to the COVID-19 Control and Suppression (Entry of Persons) (No. 3) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations, 2021 that came into force on November 16.

Fully vaccinated travelers can now move freely within the Territory while abiding by the relevant COVID-19 enactments and protocols including physical distancing, wearing masks and sanitisation measures.

Persons must be able to provide proof of their negative test results taken within two days of arrival into the Territory. Failure to provide those results for any reason that includes delays and overnight layovers, persons will be required to undertake a rapid antigen SARS COV-2 test on the day of arrival into the Territory.

Other amendments mentioned include a fully vaccinated cruise ship passenger or crew member who embarks a cruise vessel with a RT-PCR or approved rapid antigen SARS COV-2 test before arrival in the Territory will not be required to be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival and will be allowed to move freely while adhering to the relevant COVID-19 enactments and protocols.

A person is considered fully vaccinated once they receive their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the World Health Organization no less than two weeks before entering the Virgin Islands.
