The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved an increase in the fees for a number of nationality services effective June 1.

The new fees were approved by Cabinet November 14, 2023 and will allow the Civil Registry and Passport Office to continue to meet U.K standards, and in some instances, reflect a direct conversion from Sterling to U.S. Dollars as it continues to upgrade and streamline Naturalisation processes in the Virgin Islands.

Registrar General, Mrs. Tashi O'Flaherty-Maduro said, “We continue to strive to modernise our systems, and work towards processing applicants as efficiently as possible. This fee update will allow the Civil Registry and Passport Office to build upon the progress made thus far, and forge ahead with delivering a service to our clients that is on par with regional and international standards.”
