Demolition works have begun at the Elmore Stoutt High School, with the clearing of the buildings that were destroyed during the hurricanes of 2017.

A contract was executed for works to be carried out by local contractors Allister and Keith Gumbs from the Modern Development Services Limited Company, under the supervision of the Public Works Department.

All structures with the exception of the L-shaped building will be demolished during this process and debris will be discarded.

To date more than 50% of the works have been completed and the estimated completion time frame is the middle of February, 2019.
