Representatives of approximately 25 Business Service Organisations (BSOs) in the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Barths, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba are attending a two-day Train-the-Trainer Proposal Writing Workshop being hosted in the Territory from November 9 to 10. 

The workshop is organised by the Government of the Virgin Islands, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Consumer Affairs, and is part of the Caribbean Overseas Small and Medium Enterprises (COSME) Programme funded by the European Union under the 10th European Development Fund. The sessions are being facilitated by Head of the Competiveness Company of Jamaica, West Indies, Dr. Beverley Morgan, who is an expert trainer in Proposal Writing. Among other topics, the sessions covered: Best Practice Guidelines For Proposals; How To Build A Proposal Team; Pitfalls That Lead to Rejection; and Preparing the Budget.  (Photo Credit: Ronnielle Frazer/GIS)
