In response to the coronavirus disease COVID-19, the Environmental Health Division is providing the Virgin Islands public on an approved list of disinfectants to be used to clean surfaces.

Chief Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Lionel Michael stated that consumers must pay close attention to the directions described on product labels and specifications such as the length of time needed to stay on surfaces to be effective.

The list is as follows:

  2. Comet Disinfecting Spray
  3. Enviro Care
  4. Lysol Disinfecting Spray
  5. Lysol Wipes
  6. Quick & Clean
  7. Seventh Generation Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner
  8. Sol-U-Guard
  9. Essential Everyday Lemon Scent Disinfecting Wipes
  10. Member’s Mark Orange Scent Disinfecting Wipes
  11. Up and Up Fresh Scent Disinfecting Wipes
  12. Purell Professional Surface Disinfectant Wipes
  13. Peak disinfectant
  14. Peak disinfectant wipes
  15. Sani-Prime Germicidal Spray
  16. Sani-Cloth Prime Germicidal Disposable Wipe
  17. Bleach disinfectant cleaner
  18. Virasept
  19. Klercide 70/30 ipa
  20. Peroxide disinfectant and glass cleaner rtu
  21. Regular household bleach (Clorox)
  22. Beep Disinfectant Spray

Please note this list is not exhaustive. There are other disinfectants that can be used, providing consumers read the labels.
