Holders of a British Overseas Territory Citizen (BOTC) passport from the Virgin Islands are not required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) when traveling to the United Kingdom (UK).

The Civil Registry and Passport Office has announced that according to the guidelines published by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), British Overseas Territory passport holders are exempt from the ETA program. Therefore, Virgin Islands BOTC passport holders can travel to the UK without needing to apply for an ETA.

The public is also reminded that the official source for updates on restrictions and guidelines related Virgin Islands passports is the Civil Registry and Passport Office.
