The Ministry of Health and Social Development will be hosting a “Working Towards Exemplary Workplace Ethics” workshop later this month.

Chief of Drugs and Pharmaceutical Services, Mrs. Gracia Wheatley-Smith said the workshop is being held to assist healthcare workers and health professionals with the importance of demonstrating exemplary ethics in the workplace.

Mrs. Wheatley Smith said, “At the end of the session, participants should be able to define the key concepts associated with ethical behavior, explain and apply the ethical decision-making process, discuss elements of exemplary workplace ethics, discuss causes and solutions of unethical behaviour at work and explain strategies to reduce unethical behavior among other objectives.”

The workshop will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. via the zoom platform. The session will be facilitated by Consultant, Past Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, Pharmaceutical Procurement Service, OECS/PPS Head, Mr. Francis Burnett.
