The Financial Services Industry professionals turned out in scores to celebrate their colleagues for the Financial Services Awards 2022 during a Cocktail Reception that took place on February 15, 2023 at the newly opened LvL3 Rooftop Prime Restaurant in Road Town, Tortola.

Acting Premier Honourable Kye Rymer congratulated the financial services industry for their continued hard work and efforts that keep the industry and the BVI's economy thriving. Certainly, the highlight of the evening's celebration was the announcement of the winners for the Financial Services Awards. 

The 2022 big winners were Harneys, who received three awards; Tech Savvy Firm of the Year; Law Firm of the Year; and Corporate Services Provider of the Year.

Other winners include National Bank of the Virgin Islands for Best Corporate Social Responsibility and Bank of the Year; KPMG for Auditor of the Year and Accounting Firm of the Year; BVI Financial Services Commission for Regulator of the Year; Caribbean Insurers for Insurance Agency of the Year; and Deloitte for Insolvency Practice of the Year.

 Compliance Officer of the Year is Roschelle Smith of CIBC First Caribbean International Bank; Lawyer of the Year is Jenelle Archer of O’Neal Webster; and the Future Leaders Award is Chantee Mathavious of National Bank of the Virgin Islands. Mrs. Angelle Cameron of VISTRA was the event’s host.

The awardees were nominated and voted winners by their peers through an online voting platform. The 1,915 votes submitted in the 13 categories yielded the results.
