The public is invited to participate in this year’s Fire Safety Awareness Week being held under the theme, “Make Fire Safety Your Routine; Fire Safety Awareness Week 2018.

The week of events will begin with an appearance by Chief Fire Officer, Mr. Zebalon McLean on the Stay Woke show on ZBVI 780AM at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 6.

The following events are scheduled take place from October 7 to13:

  • Sunday 7, a church service at the Sea Cow’s Bay Methodist at 9: 00 a.m.
  • Monday 8, Fire Safety lectures by invitation
  • Tuesday 9, presentations  with Rotary Club Sunrise of Road Town
  • Wednesday 10, Fire Safety lectures by invitation; daily questions on ZBVI 780AM
  • Thursday 11, demonstration drills on the festival grounds at 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday 12, Fire Safety lectures by invitation
  • Saturday 13, Fire Safety lectures by invitation
