Member of the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Adopt-A-School Programme, and British Virgin Islands based law firm Harneys hosted a Volunteer Day of Care for staff, volunteers from the community, parents and students of the Francis Lettsome Primary School.

The day included cleaning of the playground; disposing damaged equipment and debris; and cutting trees and grass in preparation for the opening of school on Monday, November 6.

Volunteers alsorestored classroom equipmentby way ofbuilding new desks, and sanding and varnishing of older desks.

Prior to the day of service, the firm donated $10,000 to the Adopt-A-School Programme to assist in restoring its adopted school.
