Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye Rymer has stated that the Horsepath dip that has been a longstanding issue with motorists and residents is to be rectified.

Honourable Rymer met with residents of the community and provided an update on upcoming works that will be done on the dip to enhance its design and functionality.

“We have Mr. Percival here who is mostly affected in terms of his property,” Honourable Rymer said, adding that motorists have also experienced difficulties with the way the dip is designed.

“Noting this issue, the Public Works Department went out and did a design for this area, and today we are here to present what we are intending to do to correct this dip,” the Minister said. He also explained the upcoming changes to the traffic flow that will occur once the works begin.

Deputy Director of the Public Works Department, Mr. Kurt Hodge gave a brief presentation of the plans for the reconstruction of the dip and addressed concerns by those persons in attendance.
