HOLDIAY MESSAGE BY DEPUTY GOVERNOR
MRS. ROSALIE ADAMS

Already the feel of the Christmas Season is with us.

The coolness of the atmosphere;

The beauty of our decorated homes and public buildings;

The smell of stewing guavas and coconuts for baking purposes; and

The good Christmas season wishes that continue to be extended

As the old carol exclaims: "Soon it will be Christmas Day!"

But what will we make of this season?

Let us begin to reflect on the real reason why we celebrate. It goes back to that time long, long ago when our Saviour was born. He came to bring us love and as He grew into manhood, He humbled Himself and He identified with the low estate of mankind

It is my prayer that we would emulate those same characteristics during this holiday season. We must determine to show love to those around us and to make conscious efforts to reach out to the needy amongst us as well to pay attention to the elderly within the community.

This baby who came to save us over 2000 years ago, will come back for His people as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Let us therefore rededictate

ourselves to Him  with appropriate life styles.

I wish you a blessed holiday season and the very best for a prosperous New Year!
