The Immigration Department will commence its appointment only based services from Monday, May 4, in accordance with the scheduled reopening of the Public Service.

ALL VISITORS in the Territory are urged to contact the department on Tortola at telephone 468-9639 to schedule an appointment. Missed appointments will be re-scheduled at a later date.  Persons are reminded that they are to make an appointment and wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when visiting the department. Failure to do so will see them not being served. 

VISITORS on Virgin Gorda and Anegada are also asked to contact the Virgin Gorda Department of Immigration at 468-6520/6521 or 468-6606 to schedule an appointment.  Missed appointments will be re-scheduled at a later date. 

These measures are being implemented to adhere to proper social distancing guidelines established by the Ministry of Health and Social Development.  Information regarding all other processes will be forthcoming at a later date. Persons requiring other services should contact the department by email at immigrationinfo@gov.vg. 

The requirements needed for an extension at this time for VISITORS ONLY are as follows:

●           A valid passport to include passports of dependents

●           A fee of ten ($10) dollars will be collected upon completion of the process.

The Department of Immigration continues to contribute to the security and prosperity in building a stronger and better BVI, by operating a fair but firm immigration control that regulates and facilitates the movement of people through BVI borders while exercising sound BVI Immigration laws.
