The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting applications from interested and qualified persons with industry experience to fill the five vacant positions of one (1) Chair and four (4) Members on the Land Surveyors’ Board.

The Land Surveyors’ Board is a statutory entity associated with the Department of Lands and Survey under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration. The board was constituted by the Land Survey Ordinance of 1970 and is tasked with examining, licensing, registering and regulating Land Surveyors within the Territory.

Applicants must be permanently residing in the Territory of the Virgin Islands; be skilled in analytical thinking, communicating, collaborating, exercising confidentiality and discretion, creative problem-solving, taking initiative, and project and organisational management. They must also be passionate about elevating local surveying and building laws/practice to best support the development direction and needs of the Territory.

The deadline to submit completed applications to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration at nrl@gov.vg is Friday, March 11.
