Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to wear purple clothing or face masks on Wednesday, October 28 as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities.

Purple is the international colour of domestic violence awareness, and the Office of Gender Affairs aims to create a national demonstration of unity against domestic violence and show support to survivors in observance of the occasion.
