The Civil Registry and Passport Office is reminding all travellers that they must be in possession of passports with a validity of six months or more when travelling to the United States mainland, the United States Virgin Islands and other countries. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in refusal at the port of entry.

Persons applying for BVI visas must also adhere to this requirement as their passports must have a validity of six months or more in order for a visa to be granted.

For more information, persons are asked to visit the Civil Registry and Passport Office located on the first floor of Sakal Place. Alternatively persons can telephone (284) 468-3036.
