In responding to a news release by BVI Airways on July 4, Premier and Minister of Finance said, “the Government has fully discharged its responsibility to BVI Airways by providing $7M as a subsidy in keeping with the terms of the agreement.”

Premier Smith added, “The Government therefore hopes that BVI Airways will begin flights without any further delay.”

BVI Airways is expected to provide direct flights to and from the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport and the Miami International Airport.
