The Conservation and Fisheries Department is inviting the public to participate in the 2015 International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 19.  Persons can also participate in the clean-up from Thursday, September 17 to Monday, October 5 in the Virgin Islands.

The aim is to clean the Territory’s coasts and activities will be sponsored by the department. Registered persons will receive trash bags, gloves, and data cards.

Service organisations, schools, interested groups and volunteers are encouraged to join this annual marine clean-up and beautification initiative and are urged to photograph sites before and after clean-up.
