Did you know that Friday, June 7 is a public holiday in the Virgin Islands? Yes it is and all roads will be leading to the Festival Grounds on Wickham’s Cay I at 4:30 p.m.  for the annual birthday celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The celebration will commence with a the parade of paramilitary organisations, civic organisations and schools at 3:45 p.m. from the Road Town Police Station along Station Avenue and on to James Walter Francis Drive to the Festival Grounds.

The dress code is loungewear and persons who have been honoured with medals are encouraged to wear their decorations.
