The public is invited to the 2018 Remembrance Day Service and Beacon Lighting on Sunday, November 11 at the Eileene L. Parson Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.

The commemoration begins with a short procession of veterans and paramilitary organisations from the entrance of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College to the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, after which the service will begin.

Following the service, a short Beacon Lighting Ceremony will commence on the grounds of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. The lighting of a beacon and a 21 gun salute will also form part of the programme.

All are encouraged to attend this special service to honour those who have served in defence of the freedoms we enjoy today.
