Residents of Sea Cow’s Bay are being asked to turn cistern valves off after they are full.
The appeal comes as the Water and Sewerage Department continue to upgrade the distribution of water in the area. There have been cases of overflow and water run off as attempts are being made to replenish the levels of the reservoirs that supply water to residents.
Residents are encouraged to continue to keep an alternative source of water by replenishing cisterns and other storage containers as works continue to provide the commodity on a consistent basis throughout the Territory, but do remember to turn off valves.
For more information, persons should telephone the Water and Sewerage Department at 468-5797, 499-2924 or 468-9062.
