The Social Development Department is inviting the public to support its upcoming activities in celebration of the 30^th Anniversary of Seniors’ Month. The activities will be held under the theme, ‘Connect, Create, Contribute’ and are as follows:

May 1, Church Service and Declaration at the Sea Cow’s Bay Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m.

May 8, Senior Programme Open House at the East End/Long Look Community Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 12, Mr. and Ms. Senior BVI at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College at 5:00 p.m.

May 15, Carrot Bay Senior Programme Open House at the Carrot Bay Seventh-day Youth Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 19, The Not So Newlywed Game at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College at 5:00 p.m.

May 21, Sea Cow’s Bay Senior Programme Open House at the Ralph Perri-Gore Centre for Mission and Ministry located at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 24, Open House at the Adina Donovan Home from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 29, Seniors’ Ball at the Marina Inn at 6:00 p.m. The dress code is formal.

May 31, Food & Cultural Fair at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
