The students received an education on violence, domestic violence and healthy relationships as part of efforts by the Office of Gender Affairs to raise awareness against domestic violence.

Topics such as bullying, the difference between violence and domestic violence, and five forms of violence which includes physical, sexual, verbal, emotional and economical abuse were discussed. 

Domestic Violence Awareness month is observed during the month of October.
