The Central Tenders Board is advising prospective tenderers that effective immediately, receipts from National Health Insurance, Inland Revenue Department and Social Security Board will no longer be accepted as evidence of being in good standing with these agencies.

Tenderers are required to furnish Certificates of Good Standing acquired directly from the Director of Social Security and National Health Insurance, and the Commissioner of Inland Revenue Department with their tender submission.

Section 38(10)(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2021 requires any tenderer participating in the public procurement process to “be in good standing with respect to taxes, duties, social security contributions, national health insurance, company registration, or payment due to Government”.

For further assistance, Tenderers can contact the Procurement Unit in the Ministry of Finance at 1-284-468-2144.
