The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders to configure the new offices of the Supreme Court Registry located on the third and fourth floors of the SAKAL Building.

Interested tenderers must submit all the necessary documents to prove the proprietor is a qualified and experienced construction firm in the Virgin Islands.

Director of Communications, Mrs. Arliene T. Penn said interested persons must also provide the Procurement Unit with a valid trade licence and certificates of good standing in respect to social security, payroll and property taxes,and National Health Insurance.

Mrs Penn added, “Tenderers will be required to provide a Tender Security from a bank or accredited insurance company for a sum equivalent of 1 percent of the contract sum.”

Tender documents are available from Wednesday July 5 and can be obtained, upon request, from the Procurement Unit located at the RFG Place, Third Floor, Waterfront Drive.

A non-refundable fee of $100 payable by cash or bank cashier’s cheque is required for the tender documents.  Interested tenderers should submit one original and two copies of the tender. All tenders must be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement Unit no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19.  Tenders will be opened publicly at the Procurement Unit on Wednesday, July 19 at noon and all tenderers are invited to attend.
