The Government of the Virgin Islands is requesting proposals for the demolition and disposal of all Air Handling Units at the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex.

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said the proposed works include demolition and removal of existing air handling units to the 18 office spaces; the demolition and complete removal of all pipe work connected to the air handling units; the demolition and complete removal of all electrical components, panels and electrical accessories connected to the air handling units; and any additional works necessary to complete the demolition works, including provision of access.

Mrs. Rhymer said, “Eligible tenderers are required to submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of the Social Security and Taxes including Payroll and Property Tax from BVI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance, Inland Revenue, the Commercial Registry, valid Trade Licence, detailed work programme showing the order in which the various sections of works are to be executed along with other documents as outlined in the tender document.”

Tenderers must also present a Tender Bond/Tender Security not less than 1% of the bid price, by way of a bank or accredited insurance company.

Bidding documents are available from Tuesday, May 25, 2021 and will be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Demolition and Disposal of Air Handling Units and Accessories at the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex”.

Interested tenderers should submit one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) flash drive containing the bidder’s documents. The original bid should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “COPIES”. Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope and marked “Demolition and Disposal of Air Handling Units and Accessories at the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex” and addressed to:

All tenders must be deposited no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 in the Tender Box at the Ministry of Finance (Procurement Unit), Qwomar Trading Building #2. Tenders will not be received after the Tender Box is closed.

A virtual pre-tender meeting is scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2021 at 10:00 at a.m. via WebEx due to Covid-19 preventative measures and social distancing guidelines established by the Ministry of Health & Social Development. All prospective tenderers will be notified of the access code and password prior to the meeting.  This will be followed by a site visit.  All prospective tenderers are invited to attend.

Tenders will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Tenderers are invited to witness this process via WebEx and will be provided with the access code and password prior to the opening.
