The Government of the Virgin Islands requests tenders for the supply of vehicles for use by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.

Acting Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Diana Percell-Gumbs said eligible tenderers are required to have a valid 2024 Trade Licence for the specific type of work detailed in the tender document and submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of the Social Security and taxes, including Payroll and Income Tax, from VI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and Inland Revenue or payments due to the Government of the Virgin Islands.

Bid documents are now available from Monday, June 24 between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Documents will be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Supply of Vehicles for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force”.

Interested tenderers should submit one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) flash drive containing the bidder’s documents.  The original bid should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “COPIES”.  Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope and marked “Supply of Vehicles for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force” and addressed to:

All tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Ministry of Finance (Procurement Unit), RFG Place, Fleming Street, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands by the bearer not later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 30^th July, 2024.  Tenders will not be received after the Tender Box is closed.

Tenders will be opened on Tuesday, 30^th July, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, RFG Building, Second Floor.  Tenderers are invited to witness the opening via Webex.  Tenderers will be provided with the access code and password prior to the opening of the bids.
