The Ministry of Health and Social Development continues to encourage the public to get vaccinated as it remains the best defense against COVID-19.
Persons interested in getting vaccinated or boosted can do so by visiting any of the community clinics via appointments, or at the Catholic Community Centre weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The following persons are eligible for Pfizer boosters and AstraZeneca third doses:
- All persons with chronic diseases, or those who are severely immunosuppressed.
- All persons having completed a second or third dose of AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine at least three months ago will be eligible for a Pfizer booster.
Pfizer vaccination is available for the following categories of persons:
- All persons 12 years and older for first, second, third or booster doses.
AstraZeneca is available for the following categories of persons
- Second doses and third doses or boosters for those allergic to Pfizer
The AstraZeneca vaccine will expire at the end of January.
