The Waste Management Department is inviting tenders for the rental of heavy equipment at the Pockwood Pond Dumpsite.

Scope of Works

The successful contractor(s) would be required to perform the following works at the Pockwood Pond Dumpsite.

1. Provide and operate equipment listed in the ‘Schedule of Requirements and Specifications’ that must be capable of working a minimum 8 hours every day during the specified period. In case of breakage and interruptions, a replacement equipment must be sent to the site immediately and time lost must be discounted or made up.

Instructions to Tenderers

Tenderers are required to furnish the following:

1. Proof of possession of the equipment and trained personnel. The required equipment and personnel must be in the British Virgin Islands at the time of Tender. Tenders can quote for all equipment or one (1).
2. Details regarding experience in the type of works to be carried out.
3. Certificate of good standing from Inland Revenue Department, Social Security Board and National Health Insurance and Commercial Registry.
4.  Valid Trade License, 2025.
5. The Tender Price shall be quoted by the Tenderer entirely in United States of America Dollars (US$)

All bids will be evaluated based on Equipment reliability (20 points), Experience of the Company/heavy equipment operators (20 points) and Value for Money (Financial Proposal) (60 points).

Respondents are to submit their proposals in envelopes due on 28 April by 4:00 p.m. at the office of the Department of Waste Management located on the Second Floor of the Union Property Building across from the Happy Lion Restaurant.
