Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to Wear Blue or ‘Every Child Matters’ t-shirts on Friday, April 26 to demonstrate unity against child abuse and to support survivors.

Blue is the official colour of child abuse awareness, and the Social Development Department has partnered with Nova Vita Apparel for ‘Every Child Matters’ tees to further highlight this month’s theme. T-shirts can be purchased at Urban VI at the Cyril Romney Tortola Pier Park. A portion of proceeds will assist a family in need. To order, persons can telephone 344-4064.

Persons are also reminded to share their photos wearing blue or their tees using the hashtag #everychildmatters on all social media paltforms.
