The Environmental Health Division will be hosting a two session workshop for port health and border protection personnel to decide on strategies for the strengthening of port health regulations.

Participants will discuss the core capacity requirements under the International Health Regulations 2005, the roles of relevant agencies and stake holders at points of entry and strengthening collaborative efforts among agencies.    

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, and will be held at the Training Division’s Conference Room located in the Betteto Frett Building. The morning session begins at 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. while the afternoon session will start at 1:30 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.

Relevant stakeholders are invited to attend.
