The Town and Country Planning  Department is inviting the entire BVI community to commemorate World Town Planning and GIS Day, being observed this year under the theme “Planning is Not About Me Today, But for Us Tomorrow:  Your Opinion Counts”.

The department is making a special appeal for the community to attend the opening ceremony on Wednesday, November 16 in the Breezeway of the Central Administration Complex. The ceremony will be followed by an exhibition that will continue into Thursday, November 17, in the lobby of the West Atrium, Central Administration Complex.  

There will also be an informative GIS Radio Report feautiring guests Deputy Chief Physical Planner, Mr. Dylan Penn and GIS Officer, Mr. Troy Dawson, to be aired on ZBVI 780 AM, on Monday, November 14 at 6:35 p.m. and re-aired on Tuesday, November 15 at 8:35 a.m.  The radio report will also be aired on radio station ZCCR 94.1 FM on Monday at 7:30 p.m. and ZVCR 106.9 FM on Tuesday at 12:00 noon.
