Nominees for the Virgin Islands Youth Parliament participated in their second training session on June 2.  Presentations were made by Deputy Governor, Mr. David D. Archer Jr. on the Art of Debate/Public Speaking; Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer and Cabinet Secretary, Ms. Sandra Ward on the Role of the Cabinet vis-á-vis the House of Assembly. 

Former Speaker of the House of Assembly, Mr. Keith L. Flax presented on the Role of the Speaker/The Modern House of Assembly; while Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Marlon A. Penn delivered on the Art of Negotiation/Compromise.

The launching of the Virgin Islands Youth Parliament will take place on Tuesday, June 30 at 3:00 p.m. at the Breezeway of the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Building.
