The Fisheries Act 1997 and the Fisheries Regulations 2003. 

Entry level requirements – as a Teacher Trainee: (i) Four GCE O’Level passes at Level C including English Language and Mathematics (ii) Four Grades I, II or III CXC passes at General Proficiency including English Language and Mathematics (iii) Secondary School leaving Certificate Grade 1 or II with at least four Level A including English Language and Mathematics (iv) A combination of (i), (ii) and (iii) or the equivalent including English and Mathematics. 2. Entry level requirements — as a Teacher (i) An Associate Degree in Teacher Education or in a specific subject area or a Teacher Certificate. (ii) A Bachelor’s Degree in a specific subject area plus Teaching experience.
To register for the programme one must complete a registration form. (This can be collected from the Student Services Centre, Department of Education.

The BVI Fishing Complex proudly supports our local fisherman and offer local catch from our majestic waters. Reef fish are a common offering, however fresh wild caught tuna and swordfish, whelks, conchs and prized grouper and snapper are often available. While live lobsters are not typically kept on compound, a little planning (by placing an order) can have some of the finest lobsters in the world caught for your next meal!

Community Service is where you put your values into action to make a difference where the need is greatest. Simply put, community service is unpaid work intended to help people in a particular area.  

The BVI National Commission is one of the key partners of the international organization, UNESCO. (United Nation Educational Scientific Cultural Organization)
The registration period is from September to May. The placement test is in June.
The Recreation Trust is a statutory organization which falls under the Ministry of Education and Culture and assists the Ministry with the development and maintenance of recreational grounds and facilities throughout the Territory.
It is a statutory body established under the Laws of the Virgin Islands to provide financial assistance through the grant of education loans to persons wishing to pursue higher education. These loans are administered by the National Bank of the Virgin Islands.
