Community leaders in Virgin Gorda are featured following their participation in the Stewards of Children programme on July 12.

Second and third place recipients in the regional 50th Anniversary Essay Competition for the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court along with the second place recipient in the Poster Competition, are pictured with Her Ladyship, the Honourable Dame Janice M. Pereira, DBE, Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (seated centre) and flanked by Court of Appeal and Resident Judges.

Participants in the Stewards of Children programme are featured as they learned how to prevent, recognise and react responsibly to child sexual abuse in the community.

The Office of Gender Affairs has kicked off the ‘Man Cave’sessions as part of Men’s Health Week that began on June 12.

Environment Week ended on Saturday June 10, with a solemn Sunrise Praise and Worship Service at the Queen Elizabeth II Park.

The Environment Week Scavenger Hunt around Road Town concluded with participants, winning ‘eco-appreciative’ prizes on Friday, June 9. 

More organisations joined the “Green Pledge” on Thursday, June 8, and were awarded gold stars for “green” habits and successes.
