Assessing individuals with hopes of helping them find a solution for gender related issues.

Process

Step 1:  An individual with issues for example domestic, mental, etc. visits the Office with the completed Intake Form.

Step 2:  An officer will develop a plan for the individual in regards to dealing with their issues.  (This may involve referring the individual to another Department such as the Social Development Department or the Safe Haven Transitional Centre which may be better suited for dealing with their issues).

Step 3:  If the individual is referred to another Department a copy of the Intake Form is given to the individual to take to the department.

Step 4:  The Office of Gender Affairs will contact the referred Department to inform them that the individual is coming.

Step 5:  The Office of Gender Affairs follows up with the referred Department regarding the individual's progress.
