Answer all incoming calls to the Government and transfer calls to the appropriate Ministries/Departments/Sections/Unit.



Step 1: A Customer calls the Switchboard requesting to be connected to a specific Government Department or Government controlled phone number/extension number

Step 2: The Switchboard Operator uses their console to search for the Department Listing or enter the number provided

Step 3: The Switchboard Operator then autodials the number to verify that it is operational/ringing

Step 4: The Switchboard Operator then transfers the call to the number they dialed and disconnect themselves from the call.
