The Department of Culture recently concluded a series of book launches towards bolstering cultural and literary arts in the Virgin Islands.

The public is reminded of the launch of the book titled, "Sharing a Fly Wing A Memoir of Growing Up on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands " by author Hildegarde Flax-Shaw on Saturday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flax Administration Building conference room on Virgin Gorda.

The just concluded 51^st BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival, prominently depicted elements of Virgin Islands culture and cultural arts.

Local author Mrs. Hildegarde Flax-Shaw, will be launching her book titled, ‘Sharing a Fly Wing - A Memoir of Growing Up on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands” on Saturday April 13.

The public is reminded that the opening ceremony of the 2024 BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival will be staged at 6:00 p.m. today April 4 at the Nanny Cay Marina Village.

Three local authors will be launching their book titled, “J.A.W.S: The Journey, The Approach, The Work to Success” next month.

Local author Mrs. Andria Flax, will be launching her fifth book titled, ‘In the Beehive: The Regal Queen, the Lazy Drone & The Busy Worker Drone” on Friday, 5^th April.

The Public is reminded of the launch of the book series titled, "Kimmy Goes" by author Kenisha Sprauve on Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.
