The 2018 Hurricane Season has commenced and forecasters have indicated that this season will be an active one. This means that we have to be ready and stay ready from June to November.
People of the Virgin Islands. Many of us would like to put the 2017 hurricane season behind us forever but unfortunately we are still recovering from the devastating effects of the flood events as well as the impacts from two major hurricanes, Irma and Maria.

The impact of the 2017 hurricane season on member states of the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) was reviewed at a two-day After Action Review (AAR) meeting on May 28 and 29.
The Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship ‘RFA MOUNTS BAY’ will be docked in Port Miami from May 22nd to May 25th, to re-embark her Royal Navy WILDCAT helicopter and Disaster Relief military force in preparation for the 2018 hurricane season officially starting June 1st.
