Owners of food establishments and food handlers are notified that the Environmental Health Division will be hosting the last virtual food handlers sessions for the year on Tuesday, December 7 at 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Residents of the Virgin Islands are invited to the opening ceremony to observe World Food Day on Saturday, October 16 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sir Olva Georges’ Plaza in Road Town.
Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has said that he will observe World Food Day on October 16, with farmers and fishers at the Sir Olva Georges Plaza in Road Town.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is notifying the public that there is a surge in Ciguatera fish poisoning (CFP) within the last three weeks.
The public is notified that the food safety quiz for persons who took the Food Safety classes on the 14 and 21 January, 2021 will re-open from 10:00 a.m. on the 26th January, 2021 to 10:00 a.m. on the 27th January 2021.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is accepting applications from food service businesses in the Territory for the joint grant programme with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
