It is with a profound sense of loss and deep respect that I extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mrs. Malone and son, Malcolm Malone, extended family, friends and loved ones of a remarkable son of the soil, the late  Mr. Vernon E. Malone, QPM, LLB, CPA. 

On behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands and on my own behalf and that of my family, I join with the Territory in expressing condolences to the family and loved ones of former Member of the House of Assembly, Mr. Vernon E. Malone, on his passing.

I am saddened to hear about the death of Mr. Vernon Malone over the weekend. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The public is asked to assist with locating Mrs. Monica Marcela Pineda of Colombia. 

The Department of Immigration is asking the public to remain vigilant both on land and at sea for any suspicious persons or activity as they seek to locate illegal migrants reported to be in the Territory.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), Immigration Department and His Majesty’s Customs have new accommodations with the newly constructed Virgin Islands Law Enforcement Marine Base.

The National Security Council (NSC) met today to consider the implications of recent security incidents. The NSC expressed its thoughts for all those affected.

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice, Mike Freer MP, arrived in the BVI on Sunday 5 November for a two day visit. His responsibilities include Courts and Legal services, and this includes the Overseas Territories.
