BVI London Office Director and United Kingdom (UK) Representative Mr. Benito Wheatley was unanimously elected Chairman of the United Kingdom Overseas Territories Association (UKOTA) on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands on January 25.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE strengthened relations with the United Kingdom (UK) Parliament during his official visit last week where he attended the annual Joint Ministerial Council and held meetings with BVI stakeholders.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is pleased to announce that the British Virgin Islands has been rated “Largely Compliant” for its approach to tax transparency and exchange of information.
