The public is notified that the Land Registry Department will offer the following limited services between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays with effect from Monday, November 27 until further notice.

The Inland Revenue Department is reminding all property owners in the Virgin Islands that in accordance with the Property Tax Ordinance, Cap 207 (as amended), the last day for the payment of 2016 Property Tax without incurring interest is tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30.   

Land owners are being reminded to update their contact details for inclusion on the land register. Updates can be made at any time but a special appeal is being made this week in light of World GIS Day, Wednesday, November 16.

Recipients of land in the area of Coppermine, Virgin Gorda are notified that the road network servicing that estate has been completed.

The Land Registry is notifying the general public of its office hours and cut-off times for submission of registration documents during the Holiday Season.

Ms. Benedicta Samuels has been appointed to the post of Chief Registrar of Lands at the Land Registry Department for a period of three months, effective July 8.
