I consider it a sacred duty for a Premier to keep citizens informed of what their elected Government is doing, and hence I have been holding to this promise.

New temporary employees of the BVI Health Services Authority are featured on August 26 during a training session to assist with Antigen Testing on Virgin Gorda.
The ‘Protect Each Other’ Vaccination Drive-Thru will open this weekend from Saturday, August 28 to Sunday, August 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will continue Monday, August 30 to Tuesday, August 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Government of the Virgin Islands will host another ‘Protect Each Other’ Vaccination Drive-Thru from Saturday, August 28 to Tuesday, August 31 to provide easier access to persons getting their second dose at the Festival Grounds in Tortola from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Government of the Virgin Islands continues to train additional staff for the offering of Antigen testing as it seeks to reopen the Territory’s ports of entries safely and efficiently to international traffic.

Customer Service Touch Terminals have been placed at ports of entry and highly trafficked government offices in an effort to continue to promote exceptional customer relations within the Public Service.
Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone has called on the Virgin Islands commuity to remain steadfast and vigilant following confirmation of the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus in the Territory.
Recipients of COVID-19 Economic Stimulus Grants for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are notified that the deadline to complete the stimulus feedback forms has been extended to Tuesday, August 31.
Daycares, Pre-schools, Private Schools; churches; Religious Organisations; Farmers, and Fisherfolks are asked to complete a mandatory COVID-19 Stimulus Feedback form to assist the Government with completing its Economic Stimulus Grant Report to ascertain and confirm the impact of the support on the respective ventures.
Mister Speaker, just last week Thursday I gave an update on the impact of COVID-19 in this Honourable House. I started off that statement by acknowledging the community effort that it took to get us to a place where we could breathe a small sigh of relief because of the downturn in positive COVID-19 cases in the Territory.
