Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley will be attending 45^th regular meeting of the conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) from July 3 to 5.

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley will be attending the 73rd Meeting of the OECS Authority in St. Kitts from June 18 to 19, and the 53rd CDB Annual Heads of Government Meeting in St. Lucia from June 20 to 21.

As the Minister for Education, I am deeply saddened by the news of the recent fire in Guyana that claimed the lives of 19 students.

Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley will be joining other Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the 44th Regular Meeting this week.

Roach, Esq. of the United States of the Virgin Islands (USVI), in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas on Monday, 2^nd January, 2023.

Madame Speaker, on 18^th March 2022, the OECS Assembly, during its sixth sitting, approved the establishment of a Regional Conservation Caucus in the Eastern Caribbean, which will be commonly known as the Conservation Caucus.  The Conservation Caucus is intended to be a vehicle for advocacy, engagement, and action on international commitments and agreements and will hence:

Madam Speaker, I wish to report to this Honourable House on two recent initiatives aimed at improving trade and commerce within the region, and which I was fortunate to be a part of, representing the Virgin Islands.

Madame Speaker, 21 October is a significant day in the Virgin Islands.

On that day, 50 years ago in 1972, the first observance of BVI/USVI (British Virgin Islands/United States Virgin Islands) Friendship Day was held here, specifically on Tortola.

Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley is currently away from the Territory attending the 72^nd Meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Authority in Montserrat from 19-20 October.  

The 50^th anniversary of the British Virgin Islands/United States Virgin Islands Friendship Day celebrations will be held on Saturday, October 22 at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park at 10:00 a.m. under the theme “Our Golden Jubilee: A Resilient Bond of Friendship.”
